Michelle Ward and Kaleigh Glaza are juniors at the University of Missouri in Columbia and are proud students of the Missouri School of Journalism.
Michelle is working toward degrees in Convergence Journalism and Political Science, with hopes of attending law school after graduation.
Born in Washington, D.C., Michelle has spent the past two decades living in various cities in Virginia, North Carolina, Texas and Missouri. She considers Dallas to be her true home, though, and is proud to call herself a Texan, accent and all. Back in America, she is involved in a montage of organizations including the Society of Professional Journalists and Kappa Alpha Theta Fraternity. She enjoys creating multimedia news stories and has worked for several news organizations in Columbia, Missouri. In London, she will be interning for an online business magazine and taking several classes.
Kaleigh is studying for a degree in Strategic Communications in Journalism as well as minors in Spanish and Textile and Apparel Management.
Kaleigh was born and raised in Glen Ellyn, a small suburb of the big city of Chicago. Though it’s not the most well known of hometowns, she a loud and proud fan of all things Chicago, from the Cubs to Portillo’s hot dogs. While in her home away from home at Mizzou, this new Missouri resident is involved activities with Kappa Alpha Theta Fraternity and Women of Worth Mentoring, to name a few. Kaleigh’s fashion, love and pop culture coverage can be seen on both MOVE Magazine and Cupid’sPulse.com. In London she will be interning with a public relations firm and taking classes.
